Problem: I have a Jenn-Air side-by-side refrigerator with filtered ice and water. The red replace filter light on the outside of the refrigerator refuses to go off even after I change the water filter. What should I do?
Solution: Thankfully this is not a very complicated issue. The water filter indicator just needs to be reset. To do this press down both the Water button and the Lock button and hold them down for about 4 seconds. The green filter indicator light flashing three times indicates a successful reset. Problem: My Jenn-Air bottom freezer French door refrigerator has ice around the door and the food is frosty, but my freezer is only set to three. What’s wrong?
Solution: If warm air is getting into the freezer it can cause frost to form on food. Quite often this is caused when the door is not closing properly. Check around the door to make sure nothing is preventing it from closing properly. Open the upper door and check the top of the drawer. Make sure the gasket is hitting the steel frame of the fridge cabinet. Also check all seals around the front of the drawer. Read another topic here…
